Frequently Asked Questions (Spain)
- No, a credit card is strictly mandatory. For every car rental, a valid credit card (Visa or Mastercard) under the main driver's name is always required as a guarantee. This is necessary to cover the guarantee/deposit amount and the rental cost. Even if you wish to pay the rental cost in cash, the credit card is still required for the deposit. Please note that cards like Amex, Diners, Maestro, or prepaid cards are not accepted, and in some locations, the card must be valid for at least 6 months after the expiration date.
- Upon the return of the car, the deposit amount will be returned in full, provided no other charges arise. Please note that the actual release of the funds can take up to 30 days, depending on your card's issuing bank.
- You will need a valid driver's license (an International Driving Permit is required if your original license is not printed in English), a valid passport or national ID, and a credit card in the main driver's name for the security deposit.
- We offer a flexible cancellation policy. You can cancel your reservation free of charge up to 48 hours before your scheduled pick-up time. For later cancellations, please refer to our detailed terms and conditions.
- Young drivers cannot rent a car. Minimum age 23 years, with a driving license held for at least 2 years for drivers over 30 years old. Drivers aged 23–29 must have held their license for at least 4 years, and different age limits may apply to some car groups. The maximum age limit is 70 years. For security reasons, the company reserves the right to prevent car rental if it deems the driver unsuitable.
- First, ensure everyone is safe.Υou are required by law to report any accident to the local police within 24 hours to obtain a case number for insurance purposes.The User undertakes not to leave the Vehicle without taking the appropriate measures to protect and safeguard it, except in duly justified cases of force majeure.
- In case of any accident or any other incident (fire, theft, etc), Renter or the additional driver(s) are obliged to immediately do the following: a. Not acknowledging liability or guilt and claims of third parties in any way, direct or indirect. b. Note the names and the addresses of eyewitnesses and the name & the address of the driver & the data of the vehicle, with which Vehicle may have collided. c. Notify the Police to investigate the liability of the third party and provide care for any injurers. d. Contact the Lessor immediately by phone or other means. e. Obtain all relevant information from any third party. f. Photograph the location of the accident & the vehicles participating in the accident, if possible. The renter must complete and sing an accident/theft report latest within twenty-four (24) hours at the nearest Lessor’s branch and send any relevant documents or information to the Lessor. In case of theft or loss of Vehicle Renter must report the incident in writing at the nearest police department within twenty-four (24) hours.
- We offer a standard grace period of 1 hour from your scheduled pick-up time. If you are arriving at an airport and have provided your flight number, our team will monitor your flight status and hold the vehicle for you in case of unexpected delays. If you anticipate a delay beyond 1 hour without a provided flight number, or contact the Car rental company has the right to cancel the booking with 100% charges.
- It is not allowed to take the vehicle out of the national territory under any circumstances or embark it on sea trips or ferry, unless the corresponding services have been contracted. If you wish to travel between the Balearic Islands, it will be necessary to hire the 'Inter-Island Crossing' service. Likewise, border crossing is only allowed to the following countries: Andorra, France, Portugal and Gibraltar, if the 'Border Crossing' service has been contracted, both products specified in the terms.
